Student Minister Henry Muhammad is The Brooklyn Representative Of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and a Student of the teachings of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Bro. Henry joined The Nation of Islam in 1990. With a desire to do something positive for himself, his family and his people, Bro. Henry is consistently active and involved in all aspects of the Mosque and rose through the ranks. Because he was such an eager and steadfast student of the teachings in 1992, he became the Assistant Minister in Brooklyn under Bro. Student Minister Abdul Hafeez Muhammad who currently serves as The New York Representative of Muhammad Mosque #7 in Harlem representing the teachings of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the leadership and guidance of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Student Minister Henry Muhammad’s continued hard work and dedication lead to his appointment as The Brooklyn Minister in 1997. Most who would have been put in such a position may have become “comfortable”in such a prestigious position, but not Bro. Henry, he looked beyond the streets and took on another challenge. He became involved in the New York State Prison Ministry in 1998, only a year after his official appointment as Student Minister of Brooklyn. As he fights for justice and equality for the men in the New York State Prison system, he also counsels them and assist in their becoming men of self-reliance and self-determination so that upon their return to society they are productive members of our community. Known for the fiery spirit and passion that he brings to his lectures, Bro.Henry (who is affectionately called “The Son Of Thunder”) is often called upon to address various issues in the Brownsville/East New York area, for the believers at Muhammad Mosque#7c, as well as the city of Brooklyn in general.
